Femininity, in a bottle.
This eau de toilette spray in offers a vibrant twist on the floral bouquet first introduced by Gabrielle Chanel in 1921. With its warm and bright character, it comes in an elegant spray bottle topped with a sleek black lacquered cap. Gabrielle Chanel commissioned perfumer Ernest Beaux to create "a woman's perfume with a woman's scent," leading to an innovative composition that made remarkable use of aldehydes.
Mademoiselle selected the fifth sample and simply named it N°5. Released in 1924, the N°5 eau de toilette features a lush floral accord, where powerful top notes of ylang-ylang and neroli are enhanced by aldehydes, creating a harmonious blend with warm vanilla, vetiver, and sandalwood for a vibrant finish.
