Is it just me, or has this calamity of a year encouraged anyone else to embrace the make-up-free-days a little bit more? It’s lightweight structure means it doesn’t sit heavy on the skin - great when you’re nipping to the shops and popping the face-mask on. What more could you want?
Vitamin C - This is one of the most powerful vitamins for preventing premature aging, and protects our skin from free-radicals. Free radicals are everywhere, and we can’t run away from them - if you’re a smoker or you live in the city you may become even more exposed to free-radicals, so it’s important that we protect our skin. Vitamin C is a marvellous antioxidant meaning it fights against these molecules that want to stick to our precious skin! Vitamin C also produces collagen that will restore firmness and fight against anti-aging.
SPF 50 - unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that the sun + skin = aging skin. The high SPF sun protection filter means that you are preventing your skin from aging. Even if it’s snowing, UVA rays will still penetrate through clouds and glass, so it’s imperative that you protect your skin from those harmful rays.
Melanoxyl - effectively blocks any discolouration of the skin, it is superb at minimising any redness or dark spots.
Encapsulated pigments - If you’re anything like me, you’d be wondering how on earth the Guinot Youth Perfect Finish Cream works in terms of matching to your skin tone. Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this little bottle contains Encapsulated Pigments which matches perfectly to your skin! Just squirt a blob on your hand, massage it into your face and watch the cream give you that ultimate, hassle-free coverage.
I’ve been using the Youth Perfect Finish Cream on top of my current moisturiser to give me that extra hydration boost, and I have to say, it really works a treat. My skin feels clearer and more plump just from using it once a day, everyday for 4 weeks. It also works as a really good primer for those days when you do want to wear makeup.
As if the Youth Perfect Finish Cream needed another reason to hop into your basket, you only need a pea-size amount to get a good, even coverage all day long! Meaning 30ml will keep you going for a while. Guinot’s scientifically-led products always deliver and this one certainly delivered for me.
