Julie is one of our customer service superstars here at Jersey. Here is the thing about Julie, besides being a phenomenal woman, she has gooooood skin, the glowing and radiant kind that everyone wants. So we asked Julie which product was her ultimate favourite one to use.
She replied “ Dermalogica Multivitamin Thermafoliant everytime”
About 2 and a half years ago, just after I started at Jersey Beauty, the lovely Michelle (our superstar manager) gave me a few different products to try. Amongst the bag of goodies she gave me was a Dermalogica Multivitamin thermafoliant. I had used exfoliators before but this one is something special.
Dermalogica describes Multivitamin thermofoliant as a ‘powerful thermal skin polisher’. Like most exfoliators, it uses a physical exfoliator (the gritty bit) to get rid of the dull, dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. The special thing about Multivitamin thermafoliant is that it also contains a chemical exfoliator (which is how it gets its name thermafoliant). Both parts work together to smooth out the surface of your skin but also make sure that the age-fighting chemical exfoliators (Salicylic Acid and Retinol), get deep down into your skin where they can make the biggest difference.
I use it twice a week after I have cleansed in the shower. I use a 5p size amount, warm it in my fingertips and then gently rub it on my face in a circular motion.
It’s a slightly yellow, gritty gel like texture. As you warm it with your fingertips, the heat from your fingers thins it out. Once you apply it to your face, your skin is beautifully warm. My face feels clean, fresh and smooth after I have used it. You feel like your skin really has been exfoliated deep down. Plus I can definitely see the benefit, its lovely.
Pair it with Dermalogica’s Skin Resurfacing Cleanser. Use Skin resurfacing Cleanser everyday and supplement it with Multivitamin Thermafoliant a couple of times a week for a winning combination.
